Natural facial care for cancer
During cancer treatment, chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy are often used. Both forms of treatment aim to destroy the cancer cells, but unfortunately, in the process also destroy the healthy cells in the body.
Radiation often leaves spots on the skin that have been burned, like sunburn. Flakes and blisters may also appear on the skin. Chemotherapy may cause the skin to become dry and dehydrated, and the skin may age more quickly. The skin is also quickly irritated and extra sensitive. So the skin's condition can deteriorate considerably during chemotherapy treatment or radiation.
IK Skin Perfection has three products in its range specially tailored to skin treated with chemo, radiation, or heavy medication. These products can be used before, during, and after treatment to protect and keep the skin firm.
Gentle products without burdensome substances
When choosing the right skin care for cancer, it is very important to choose products that do not contain parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, perfumes and dyes. These substances can weaken the skin, which is already stressed enough during chemo treatment or radiation. In addition, the PH value of the products should be equal to the PH value of the skin (PH 4.6 to 5.2). When products are used that meet these requirements, the skin will be optimally protected and the products can support and soothe the skin.
IK Skin Perfection has developed three products, especially for susceptible skin, skin treated with heavy medication, and irradiated skin: IK Skin Perfection DE-ITCHY+, IK Skin Perfection RECOVER+, and IK Skin Perfection SILK+. These oil, cream, and cleanser contain no harmful substances, are PH skin neutral, and optimally support the skin. With these three products together, you have everything you need for perfect cancer skincare.
This trio of products forms the ideal skin care for cancer. They are available together in the IK Skin Perfection Medical Kit.
