Acne
Acne is the medical term for (juvenile) pimples. It is a skin condition in which small inflammations form in the skin around the sebaceous glands.
Rosacea
Rosacea is an inflammatory disease recognized by burning and prickling skin with redness on the face (especially on the cheeks, chin and nose).
Eczema
Eczema is an inflammatory reaction of the skin. This inflammatory reaction often causes the skin to see redness, blisters, swelling and chapping. Eczema skin is also often itchy.
Pigmentation
In pigmentation, the skin shows irregular discoloration resulting in an uneven complexion. The cause: overproduction of melanin resulting in dark spots on the skin.
Skin aging
From the age of about 25, the skin begins to show the first signs of skin aging. There are three signs of aging skin: wrinkles, loss of volume and loss of density.
Scars
Littekens zijn beschadigingen in de huid. De huid is in dat geval zo beschadigd, dat hij bindweefsel aan gaat maken om de beschadiging te dichten. Dit bindweefsel verschilt van het normale weefsel van de huid en vormt het litteken.
